A recipe for wellbeing

Nothing feels better than savouring a lovely helping of wellbeing.  Follow this simple recipe to cook up a little happiness and balance. best part is, it  can be adapted to suit your needs.

Ingredients:

2 cups of kindness (to yourself and others)

1 cup of gratitude (for you and your experiences and the connections you have)

1/2 cup of movement (stretching, walking, dancing - anything you love)

1/2 cup of quiet time (breath, savour, daydream or just be still).

A generous handful of connections (people, nature, pets or things you love)

A pinch of purpose and meaningfulness (anything and something that matters to you)

A heaped teaspoon of laughter (be silly, make jokes, share the humour).

Instructions:

Start by gently stirring in the morning with gratitude

mix in well some movements and quiet time for balance and harmony

add a little kindness and fold with love.

Toss in connection and purpose to make it hearty and healthy

Top with a generous sprinkling of warm and encouraging laughter, to be shared with everyone you meet.

Note: there is no right measurement, adjust to take and make it yours just ensure you savour every bite!
